人工植牙

哪些人適合進行人工植牙？

若牙齒移位及鬆脫，例如牙周病，可進行人工植牙療程，並不受年齡限制，惟青少年因骨骼尚未完全發育，可能未必合適。此外，患有嚴重糖尿病、骨質疏鬆、腎病、愛滋病、口腔內骨骼不足，以及精神上對植牙過於恐懼的人士，也不適合進行人工植牙。事實上，牙科醫生會先為患者做臨床檢查，並以數碼化儀器檢查後，預測植牙的位置及植體大小等，才診斷是否適合進行人工植牙手術。

如何進行人工植牙？

注射麻醉藥後，先脫掉上顎或下顎牙齒，把牙床消毒，然後鑲嵌由鈦金屬或鈦合金製造的人工植體，完成後即可印牙模，度身訂做臨時牙橋，數小時後，臨時牙橋製成，牙科醫生會用螺絲將牙橋鑲嵌於人工植體上。術後約３個月，當植體與牙床骨結合，以及植體附近的牙肉收縮穩定，牙科醫生會為患者再印製牙模及安裝，植牙手術正式完成。

人工植體由鈦金屬製成，具有生物相容性，可非常穩固支撐假牙。而植牙使用的牙橋及假牙冠，由陶瓷及樹脂等不同材料製成，耐用堅固，醫生會按照患者情況而使用合適材料。一般情況下，單顆植牙的手術時間約需半小時，而進行上頜或下頜半口植牙手術，約需１天時間。

人工植牙與傳統牙橋有何分別：

傳統牙橋的穩定性及咬合能力較差，影響咀嚼感覺，並且需要每日脫下清洗。佩戴時需要將鄰牙磨小，影響鄰牙的健康，更會較易造成齒槽骨的吸收。相反，人工植牙只需四至六顆人工植體，可支撐十至十二隻假牙，並固定於口腔內，不需取出，十分穩固，省時方便。而且，進行人工植牙不會損害其他健康牙齒。陶瓷的牙冠亦很耐用，咀嚼感覺仿如真牙。

人工植牙有何優點？

• 不需要鄰牙支撐，不用磨小健康的牙齒。
• 不用每日除下清洗。
• 鈦金屬的人工植體，耐用穩固，單顆可支撐十至十二隻假牙。
• 人工植牙穩定性高，不會影響咀嚼感覺。
• 人工植牙的成功率高，下顎為95％，上顎為90％。

什麼是全頜植牙？

All –On- Four全頜植牙手術，即將全頜牙橋固定在上下顎各四至六顆的鈦金屬人工植體上。牙科醫生會為患者做臨床檢查，並以數碼化軟件，預測植牙的位置及植體大小，若適合進行全頜植牙，會先脫掉上顎或下顎牙齒，把牙床徹底消毒，然後分別在上下顎植入四至六顆鈦金屬的人工植體。鑲入人工植體後，可印製牙模製造臨時全頜牙橋，接著牙科醫生會用螺絲把牙橋鑲嵌在植體上。一般情況下，在進行上或下顎植牙手術後，翌日可進行另一邊手術。

約在３個月後，若人工植體附近的牙肉癒合，植體與牙床骨亦已經結合，便可以鑲嵌新的全頜牙橋。術後患者需每年進行檢查及維修。 此手術以局部麻醉進行，如有需要，可進行全身麻醉。
